Dear Sir,
I am a resident in your house since long time. Over the past few weeks I have been undergoing a terrible hardship due to roof leakage. If the heavy shower continues like present, the house will become completely inhabitable.
It is regretted that despite my repeated verbal requests you have not cared to repair the damaged roof. As per clause No. [insert number] of the Rental Agreement, the landlord is conditioned to repair any damages to the structure. Alternately, the Tenant may also undertake the repair job provided that the cost shall be adjusted against house rents.
