Sonali Bank ltd. is the largest state-owned bank in Bangladesh. It was established in the year 1972 under Presidential Order No. 26 of 1972. Since inception, it has been providing satisfactory service to its customers. One of its newest innovations is RMS+ or Remittance Management System. This is a very fast online transfer system of remittance to a customer’s bank account. The basic facilities are as follows:

• online transfer of money to a customer’s account.
• automatic notification on customer’s mobile phone upon transfer of remittance into the recipient’s account.
• disbursement of money via spot cash system even if the recipient does not have any account.
• online transfer of money from one branch of Sonali Bank to another by TT/DD/MT.
