Paromita Mitra

Paromita Mitra, Miss Mississippi 2013, who will represent her home state of Mississippi this year at the Miss USA pageant. Although she was grown up in the US, she was born in Jessore, Bangladesh. Currently she is studying at Mississippi State University (MSU) in Aerospace Engineering. She worked as an undergraduate researcher at MSU’s Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems on a NASA funded program, where she received 1st and 3rd place recognition both regionally and nationally for her research.
