Sub: Enhancement of FDR Interest Rate.
Dear Sir,
I have been maintaining a FDR with your branch, vide its no.: [insert FDR number], date of opening: [insert date], date of maturity: [insert date], amount: [insert amount]. During the time of FDR opening the interest rate was stipulated at [insert percentage, e.g.: 9%]. Accordingly, I had been given interest as per aforesaid rate for the first [insert terms, e.g. 3 months]. However, in the 4th month I had been given a lower rate of [insert percentage, e.g.: 5%].
I am not at all happy about the low rate of interest. Therefore, I would request you to reconsider and enhance the interest to a suitable rate. Otherwise, I shall discontinue the subject FDR from [insert month, e.g. from December 2018].
