I am writing to express my dissatisfaction over the above-noted subject. I hold a Savings Account with your bank since the last [insert years] and have been a sincere client with regular and candid transactions. I am surprised by the fact that my last cheque vide no: [insert cheque number] dated: [insert date] of amounting to [insert amount], favouring [insert name of drawee] has been dishonoured by your bank with a remark “insufficient fund”. However, pursuant to your last balance confirmation my account should have sufficient fund to honour such a small cheque.

Therefore, kindly look into the matter and advise as to why the subject cheque has been dishonoured by your bank.
